We had such a great Christmas! The best part of the day is always watching Emma and Regan experience all of the excitement. I love that our camera captured some of those moments too!
*Not Pictured: My favorite part of Christmas...talking to my little brother who is serving in Ecuador right now. He is happy and loving the missionary life!

Dance!

Emma and Regan's Christmas recital at their studio was SO cute! They put them in adorable costumes (Emma didn't love her antlers:) and taught them fun little routines.
Regan was just SO excited because it was her turn to preform! Regan sang along with every song while she danced and Emma's favorite part was showing off her cartwheel!
Thanks to all who came...we love you!

Mom, I'm like, kinda famous!!!

That's what Emma said at her performance in the Nutcracker last weekend!
She LOVED the stage and thought it was so fun to be in the same show as her aunt Kassady!
What made it more special was that her all of her grandparents, aunt Alexa, and even her kindergarten teacher were able to come see her!
These are pictures form the dress rehearsal since no camera's are allowed during the actual show.

Finally...A Light Parade!

We had a great time at the Phoenix Light Parade! We got there with plenty of time to eat dinner, drink hot chocolate, people watch, play in the street, go to the bathroom, drink more hot chocolate, play with glow sticks...etc!
We sat at the end of the route and it only took 1 1/2 hours for it to finally reach us, but it was a fun night with our friends, the Nielson's (or '' the Alyson's" as Emma likes to call them)...
worth the drive and the freezing cold!

A Magical Night

On the way home from Utah we stayed in Flagstaff and went for a ride on The Polar Express!! We got the girls all bundled up and told them we were going to see some lights and maybe get a treat-- when we walked by all the trains and into the station/gift shop that was full of kids in pj's and everything having to do with trains they were still oblivious!! It started to snow about the time we were to board so we headed outside and until Emma heard, then saw the lights on the train pulling into the station she didn't have a clue! Her reaction was one of my favorite 'mom memories' because she was speechless and then just in awe of all the 'magic'! We had so much fun and it was a great way to start celebrating Christmas.
