Graduation

He did it!! Brady graduated with his MBA! It was a great day that we were blessed to be able to share with family.
I am so proud of him and all of his time and effort he puts into being the best he can be. The girls were SO excited to spot him in the {huge} sea of graduates and cheer for him when he walked!
Way to go Brady, we love you and we are PROUD of YOU!!

When it took 25 minutes just for the graduates to walk in I knew we were going to be there for a while! Luckily we had plenty of people to take turns entertaining the girls and it was fun waiting for Brady's turn. Lyla sat on Aunt Mallory's lap and blew bubbles, Regan climbed all over the seats stopping for anyone who had food or candy, and we made Emma rub her hair all over the static seats to see how big we could get it...and it got pretty big -you can see it sticking to the guy sitting in front of us!!

Everything Easter {2011}

Attend the pageant? check, but no pictures.
Hunt for eggs at Beck's? check.
End with a TON of candy? check.
Where coordinating outfits with sisters? check.
Sort of smile for Mom and Dad to take pictures of those outfits? check, sort of.
Come home from church with a better understanding of why we celebrate Easter? check. check.

Besides the fact that Emma and Regan LOVE their new teachers at church for always bringing fun treats, they are learning a ton. They come home remembering a lot from class and we have had some great conversations lately.
After church Emma told us she got to see all her favorite pictures of Jesus while her teacher told them about His life. She has always loved to study down to the smallest detail each of the pictures that illustrate the events of Christ's life.
Tonight Regan said, "Mom, I love the spirit. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus too. ((long pause)) And I love that Jesus died for me and He lives now." Regan has always listened carefully to scripture stories and we knew she loved and cared about them and could just see her little mind thinking it all over, but tonight it was like it clicked and she realized it was her testimony...what she believes and what makes her heart feel happy. I could not ask for a better way to end my Easter day.

Lyla @ 11 Months

This little darling has had the happiest month yet!!
She loves the new house & has adjusted perfectly.
She is silly and has quite a spunky attitude already...shocker.
Standing up {alone} is a new fave & smiles are pretty much constant. Love!

7 is Heaven!

Does everyone use that post title? Probably, but Emma was ecstatic to have her birthday! It has been so busy for us the last few months and she was totally due for an "Emma day"! Lucky for her, her birthday fell on a Saturday so we did what she loves...presents first, donuts for breakfast, play all day, then Cheesecake Factory for dinner, and home for cake and ice cream.
This fabulous little girl is a joy to have and keeps us smiling always!

#4

You would think after three you would be done.
Not us.
...We just wrapped up MOVE #4...
I tucked Emma and Regan into bed in the "room with the pink stripe" & they asked how long we would live here...
FOREVER!
It will take a LONG time to forget this.
No matter how hard I try to keep it all organized, it is madness.
4 is probably not a big number compared to most, but it's plenty for me.
But now the very best part...unpacking & organizing.
It makes me crazy when I can't figure out how to put it all away, but when I finally do, it's bliss.
We are right where we want to be and in a house that is perfect for us, it's a blessing.
Our last day in our old house was Sunday and we watched conference...the perfect ending to a great 4 years.
We lived in the best neighborhood and were part of a good ward. We will miss that tremendously.
But I am sure that everyone involved in our move (Thank you to you all!) would agree that we were bursting out of that house. Seriously, the house had great storage space, but I couldn't believe what we packed in over 4 years.
Pictures to come...
As soon as I dig out of the boxes.
