A Good Night

When I was putting Emma to bed she said, "Mom, you are for hugs and kisses and making us food."

And that was that.

After an especially long bedtime routine I took a deep breath (trying to remain patient) when she called to me one more time just as I closed the door. I opened it and she said,

"Mom, I love you as much as I can."

I melted and she for sure got extra x&o's for that one.
