Baseball for Four

Brady's favorite team the Cardinals were in town last week to play the DBacks so we took the girls to a game. Emma has been before and so she was torn over who to cheer for and Regan started out by cheering for BYU, but once Brady straightened out all the confusion we were set for a great night! I had to get up and walk every 20 minutes and that was about how long each treat lasted so we worked out a great system. Toward the end of the game we moved to seats where Emma and Regan had more room to play and they came up with their own cheers and did the wave... everyone was happy. I love nights like that and it was the perfect
'last outing as a family of four'!
(no pictures with me in them until further notice:)

At Least Someone Thinks So...

This pregnancy has been a bit different ~ I've been monitored VERY close by 2 doctors because our baby girl is on the small side. She is healthy and well, just a small baby. People are just now -at 34 weeks- starting to say things like, "Wow- you look pregnant...finally!" and, "What? you're 34 weeks? You're tiny!" It's nice to be small, but it does remind me of the stresses and worries we've had over the last few months.
Well, the other day when I picked Regan up from my sister's house my sweet nephew (who happens to stand at eye-level with my belly) came right up and pointed at it and said,
"Woah! That's one BIG belly!"
Thanks Josh...I think so too!

Nesting...

and I feel like it's a little early, but I can't ignore it!
#3 on my list of things to do before baby:
-catch up on blogging-
Done.
~I have much more important things on the list, but Brady has to help with most of it and I decided to give him a day off!~
Here's what we've been up to this spring...

Their Choice...

Instead of the girl's choosing a big party with friends, they chose bday dates with Mom & Dad (how long will that last?) Emma originally chose Build-A-Bear and Joe's bbq and Regan chose Cheesecake Factory (strictly because she loves to put tons of butter on her bread by herself) and then getting her ears pierced.
We took Regan a few days after her bday and she was shy and maybe just a little nervous ( I love the pic of her with her jaw dropped when they were getting everything ready), but it helped that she didn't know what was coming! She got a bit of a shock when they actually pierced them, but once we assured her that it was over and the earrings were in we avoided the tears! Piece of cake!
Well, when Emma saw what a snap it was she decided she wanted to get earrings too. So, we took her after school on Friday and this time was a little... different. Her palms were sweating while we walked to the store and she was squeezing my hand while we waited for her turn.
(it did NOT help that a newborn was before her and cried THE saddest cry ever)
Once she got in the chair and chose her earrings, the nerves settled in and the tears came. I hugged her and whispered in her ear that she didn't have to and this was what she chose, but it wasn't too late to change her mind. *sidenote- I was a bit annoyed to be put in the position of looking like the mean mom forcing my kid to get her ears pierced!* The girl was super nice and talked her through it and we closed our eyes and counted to 3 and...POP! (insert a few more tears- or relief, I think- here)
She walked out happily shaking, but glad she went through with it!
Both bday dates were great and much easier than putting together a party!

Green Easter

No, we didn't 'go green' like that...but I without any effort we ended up all wearing green for Easter. Emma chose dresses for her and Regan back in January(she wasn't happy I made her wait to wear hers), Brady ended up with a green and blue tie to go with his new pants, and the only thing that fit me that Sunday happened to be green! So the only logical thing to do was blog about it!
